On September 9th, we held the second event in our Thought Leadership Breakfast series. These bi-monthly thought leadership breakfasts bring together a panel of experts to speak about a specific topic or industry.
This month’s breakfast focused on Applied Artificial Intelligence. The panellists included Bethany Edmunds, Associate Dean at Northeastern University, Handol Kim, Co-Founder & CEO of Variational AI, Maya Medeiros, Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright, and Raymond Ng, Chief Informatics Officer at PROOF Centre of Excellence. The group had a lively discussion on the ethics of artificial intelligence. The conversation ended on a positive note with an optimistic outlook on the future of AI and the many opportunities for growth in the industry.
