Intellectual property (IP) is an important value driver and putting an IP management strategy in place is critical to the successful development of a business. Organizations of all sizes, and most particularly SMEs, inevitably face unique challenges and opportunities in IP management and identifying, generating, and exploiting intellectual property can lead to sustainable (and in some cases significant) competitive advantages and avoidance of risks.

There are important and timely considerations in understanding how you can innovate using AI while making sure you’re going to be compliant within the regulatory landscape.

With the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), there is increasingly a greater concern around the ethical use of AI requiring organizations to adopt an ethical framework to inform the development and responsible use of AI technologies. A failure to do so puts an organization at risk of reputational harm as well as potential exposure to liability.
