The Problem
Cardiovascular disease is complex, involving silent variables sometimes hidden in our genetics, lifestyle factors and natural environment. Traditional data types from blood tests and blood pressure readings may provide snapshots for disease prediction and management, but not the full picture.
Even with the availability of data from the various biological, environmental and lifestyle factors that contribute to cardiovascular disease, its sheer volume and variety can overwhelm traditional computational models, making it difficult to extract actionable insights.
How We Are Solving It
Led by Myant in collaboration with PACE Cardiology, the Perimeter Institute and Aon Solutions Canada; this project aims to develop the comprehensive iPulse360 platform that integrates the capabilities of quantum computing, artificial intelligence (AI) and wearable technology to deliver unprecedented monitoring and insights into individual heart health.
At the core of iPulse360 is the integration of Myant’s advanced smart textiles embedded with advanced sensors that enable continuous monitoring of vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure and ECG. These textiles provide a seamless, comfortable and non-invasive solution for collecting real-time health data. By applying the capabilities of quantum computing and AI-driven analytics with the rich, complex layers of multimodal data captured via Myant’s technology, such as physiological signals, genetic information, lifestyle patterns and environmental exposure — the iPulse360 platform will enhance diagnostic precision and be able to offer personalized treatment strategies for cardiovascular health. The project’s vision is to support a shift from reactive to proactive healthcare through the enablement of real-time data collection and early warnings of potential health issues.
By partnering with Aon, a global leader in risk management, the project will have opportunities for accelerated commercialization and global adoption of a Canadian quantum-powered health solution.
